recipe

Puff pastry
Brie (round)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Defrost the puff pastry if necessary & unfold on a flat surface. Use a rolling pin to thin the dough until it's a 1/4 inch thick. Place the round brie in the center of the dough.

Egg

Step 2

In a small bowl, crack & whisk an egg.

Step 3

Brush the pastry dough with the egg wash. Fold the edges of the dough up & over the brie until it's fully covered. Press down on the folded edges to avoid any big bubbles. Brush the exterior with the egg wash. Transfer to a parchment-lined sheet tray & bake in the oven for 15-20 min until it's golden brown.

Step 4

Remove the baked brie from the oven & let it rest for about 5-10 min.

Cranberry sauce
Walnuts

Step 5

Dress the brie with a large dollop of cranberry sauce & sprinkle crushed walnuts on top for some crunch (optional). Build your spread however you wish! We love to serve this with sliced apples, crostinis or crackers! Enjoy!
