recipe

Ice cream cones (wafer)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange cake cones in a baking dish or muffin pan.

Funfetti cake mix
Water
Vegetable oil
Egg

Step 2

In a large bowl, empty the contents of the cake mix. Add in eggs, water & oil (make sure to follow the packaging for proper liquid ratios!) Whisk it all together by hand or use a hand mixer on medium speed for about 2 min.

Rainbow sprinkles

Step 3

Spoon about 3 tbsp of batter into each cone, careful to not overfill as the cupcakes will rise! Add a pinch of sprinkles on top of each cone. Bake the cupcake cones in the oven for 25-30 min.

Vanilla frosting

Step 4

As the cupcakes bake, fill a zip-top plastic bag with frosting & twist the bag at the top, pushing all the icing towards one corner tip. Refrigerate until the cupcakes are ready to frost.

Step 5

Test for doneness by sticking a toothpick in the center of a few cupcakes. If it comes out clean, they are done! Remove from the oven & cool the cupcakes completely.

Step 6

When the cupcakes are cool, snip off a 1/4 inch on the corner of the bag. Begin piping frosting on the top of the cupcake in a circular motion. Top with rainbow sprinkles serve & enjoy!
