Potato

Step 1

Preheat the broiler. Peel & cube the potatoes.

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes. Cook for 15 min, or until fork-tender.

Peel & mince the onion.

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion. Sauté for 3 min.

Ground beef

Step 5

Add the ground beef. Season with salt & pepper. Cook, stirring for 5 min.

Potato

Step 6

Drain the potatoes.

In a bowl, combine the potatoes, milk & butter. Season with salt & pepper. Mash it all together until smooth & creamy.

Step 8

Grease a baking dish. Transfer the ground beef to the dish. Evenly spread the mashed potatoes over top.

Parmesan

Step 9

Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted & golden. Check often to be sure it doesn't burn! Enjoy!
