Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bring the butter to room temperature. Drain the canned pears.

In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter & brown sugar.

Almond flour
Vanilla extract

Step 3

Crack the eggs into the bowl. Add the almond flour, vanilla & a pinch of salt. Mix to combine.

Pie crust (ready-to-bake)

Step 4

Be sure to follow the pie crust package instructions! Arrange the pie dough in a parchment-lined pie pan. Pierce it several times with a fork. Pre-bake the crust if the instructions recommend it!

Step 5

Evenly spread the almond-sugar mixture over the base of the tart.

Pears (canned)

Step 6

Thinly slice the pear halves. Arrange the sliced pears decoratively over the tart. Garnish with sliced almonds (optional).

Step 7

Bake for 30 min at 400°F, or until golden brown.

Step 8

Let cool slightly before slicing. Decorate with sifted powdered sugar. Serve & enjoy!
