Stovetop, Pot (small), Colander, Frying pan, Knife

Pasta (penne)

Step 1

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve a bit of pasta cooking liquid.

Garlic

Step 2

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced or crushed garlic. Cook, stirring for 1 min.

Tomato paste
Vodka
Heavy cream

Step 3

Add the cream, tomato paste & vodka to the pan.

Step 4

Then add a bit of the pasta cooking liquid. Stir to combine.

Step 5

Reduce the heat to low & simmer until the pasta is done.

Pasta (penne)

Step 6

Drain the pasta. Add it to the pan with the sauce. Mix to combine.

Parmesan

Step 7

Garnish with extra shaved or grated parmesan (optional). Season with salt & pepper. Enjoy!
