Pasta (penne)

Step 1

Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Tip: Reserve a bit of the cooking liquid when draining the pasta.

Peel & mince the garlic.

Basil (fresh)
Olive oil
Pine nuts
Garlic
Parmesan

Step 3

Place the basil (reserve a few leaves for garnish), olive oil, pine nuts, garlic & parmesan In a blender. Add salt to taste & blend to form a paste.

Pasta (penne)

Step 4

Mix the pasta together with the pesto. Add a bit of the pasta cooking liquid if needed. Garnish with salt, pepper & a few torn basil leaves (optional). Mangia!
