Pot (small), Stovetop, Frying pan, Peeler, Knife
Peel & cube the potatoes. Cook them in a pot of salted boiling water for 10-15 min, or until fork-tender.
Melt half the butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Dredge the chicken in flour on both sides.
Add the dredged chicken to the pan. Season with salt & pepper. Cook for 2 min, while spooning the melted butter over the chicken.
Flip over the chicken. Reduce the heat to medium. Keep basting the chicken, until it's cooked through.
Drain the potatoes. Add them to a bowl with salt, pepper & a pinch of ground nutmeg (optional).
Add the milk & the rest of the butter to the potatoes. Mash with a potato masher or fork until smooth & creamy.
Slice the chicken. Serve it alongside the mashed potatoes. Be sure to drizzle any remaining butter sauce over top. Enjoy!
