Butter (unsalted)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray. Or, line the pan with parchment paper. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter for about 30 sec.

Yellow cake mix
Brown sugar (light)
Egg
Butter (unsalted)

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter & 2 tbsp water until well combined.

Butterscotch chips

Step 3

Fold in the butterscotch chips.

Step 4

Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.

Step 5

Bake for 35-40 min or until golden brown on the outside. Test for doneness by sticking a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, they are ready! Let the blondies cool for at least 1 hour...we promise, it's worth it!

Step 6

Carefully cut into even squares & enjoy!
