Meet Agathe, Our Global Workplace Manager

by

Sarah P.

Some of the most important roles at Jow happen almost entirely behind the scenes… and that’s the case with our Workplace Manager. Meet Agathe Lee, who makes sure the entire Jow operation keeps running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Name:

Agathe

Role at Jow:

Workplace Manager

Where are you from?

Paris and the Southwest!

Where do you live now?

Paris!

My current obsessions:

OMG! Throne of Glass book series, Disenchanted on Netflix, and everything glitter

If you weren’t a workplace manager, what job would you have?

I’d rescue sea animals and turtles somewhere

Favorite Dad Joke:

Bye cochonaille is my go to bye bye, which makes everyone cringe here. I love it. Or, t'as trois poussins sur une table. tu en veux deux. Que fais-tu ?

A funny fact about you:

I have suffered more than 60 black eyes in my life; thanks rugby. I have a pic of every single one! I’ve also broken my nose 4 times. Hahaha.

What is the most challenging part of your role at Jow?

It’s everything from planning huge company seminars to telling people to replace the toilet paper roll when they finish it.

What are some tips you have on how to face these challenges?

For tasks like planning events, it’s staying organized and summoning the best creativity possible! For issues like replacing the roll… I tell people if they don’t replace it, they won’t have it anymore (lol).

How does your role impact Jow and Jow’s customers?

I try to make the Jow environment the absolute best possible! This way, everyone can thrive and, hence, deliver the best of Jow to our customers 🧡

What’s a project you’ve been a part of at Jow that you’re really proud of?

There are so many! I planned:

  • A big event party
  • Two seminars!
  • Office revamps
  • and more!

What’s your favorite part about working at Jow?

I love every little thing.

  • Waking up and having new missions every day
  • Creating my own roadmap
  • Being the person that Jow employees can turn to
  • Remember we are human in everything we do!

What’s your favorite Jow recipe?

EVERYTHING GNOCCHIS

What tips do you have for someone who wants to work in the field?

Trust yourself, keep focusing on the human part when the day gets hard. Also, find a company that shares the same values as you. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, and be prepared to be someone that will refill the toilet paper AND organise a big big big concert with a mega budget. It's what keeps us grounded.
